






Aric Nesbitt and Tom Leonard both rolled out campaign-focused proposals in the crowded Republican primary. Michigan also corrected a Real ID compliance report, which gave Jocelyn Benson a chance to highlight department efficiency. The new items look more like positioning than a clear change in the nomination race. The latest items are mostly candidate messaging and do not clearly shift the race. They may slightly help Nesbitt and Leonard with primary voters, but overall uncertainty remains high.
