Notable personal detailsZach Dembo is an attorney and former federal prosecutor who ran for U.S. House in Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District. He served as a U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps officer, worked as an eighth-grade English teacher with Teach For America, and later prosecuted civil rights cases for the U.S. Department of Justice. He also served in Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear’s administration as a policy advisor and legislative director before returning to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Lexington.
