Notable personal detailsMitchell J. Landrieu is an American politician and public administrator who served as the 61st mayor of New Orleans and previously as lieutenant governor of Louisiana. He later served in the Biden White House as Senior Advisor to the President and as the White House Coordinator for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Implementation Office (Nov. 2021–Jan. 2024). He is the son of former New Orleans mayor Moon Landrieu and the brother of former U.S. senator Mary Landrieu.
