News
Evan Turnage lost the Democratic primary for Mississippi’s 2nd Congressional District to incumbent Bennie Thompson. Turnage had challenged Thompson on an economic-populist message as an antitrust lawyer, but the district is seen as a Democratic stronghold and Thompson is expected to go on to win the general election.
