Notable personal detailsAbraham Enriquez is a Republican candidate for the U.S. House in Texas’s 19th Congressional District in the 2026 election cycle. He graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2018 with a political science degree and has led conservative Hispanic outreach and business-advocacy efforts as founder and president of Bienvenido. He has appeared in regional and national media as a commentator on Hispanic outreach, politics, and public policy.
Abraham Enriquez is in a very close fight for the second spot in the Texas 19th Congressional District Republican primary runoff, with Matt Smith separated by just 193 votes. Tom Sell has already secured the top runoff position, and the final field will be certified by March 15 ahead of the May 26 runoff. Enriquez is also facing allegations that his nonprofit, Bienvenido US, defrauded donors by not delivering promised political outreach, which he denies as attacks from opponents.
